Poinsetta Biscornu

found in the 2008 JCS Christmas Ornament Issue

Fabric: 32 count Olive Belfast Linen
Threads:DMC and mill hill beads
Finishing: Chrsitmas ornament


This was very quick to make and its very small , perfect to hang on a tree. The Colours are gorgeous. I will post a picture of it when it is up on our tree .

I started it on Friday and finished it yesterday. It is basically backstitching, some satin stitch and beads, there are only 8 cross stitches. But the result is wonderful, the designer is brilliant!

OMGosh! That is beautiful!!! I wanted to do it from seeing the pic in the mag, but yours makes me want to do it even more!! And I love your "button"...is it from an old piece of jewelry?? I have just the thing in my stash that's been waiting for such a fabulous "background"!
