A quilt for my daughter
This is the second quilt I am working on for one of my daughters. I am making 1 quilt for each of my children ( 3 girls and a boy)/ The first one is for Kathryn ( its in the quilting stage now) , The second one is using the hexagon shape to paper piece a quilt for Sonya, here are pictured some basted. I love that this quilt can be taken with me to work on when I take the kids to their activities.

Dresden Block
I made this dresden block using the dresden ruler I mentioned in a previous post , pictured you can see more blades cut for a second one. I am planning to make pillows out of both. I need to make the centers and choose the backing fabric.

3 sisters moda jelly roll
I am using this jelly roll for my first quilt, its Oasis from 3 sisters. I decided after making a couple of miniature quilting projects ( these can be seen on my miniature blog) to try some life size quilting. My plan is to make one for each of my children ( 4 of them :) so many projects to start with) I am a beginner so these will be my learning quilts.
