Latest Ornaments April 2013

 

I have been enjoying stitching these Santas, I always do :D

 

 

Recently I had an opportunity to make some changes to the pattern for a customer on etsy, it was fun!

 

 

and here are three from the Christmas song 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'

WIP Knitting and Crochet

I have lots of WIPs here is an update of the wool patchwork.

The blocks are made with knitting and crochet.

 

I also have this crochet blanket with bright colours and black borders.

 

 

First knitting block

We have moved country and most of my arts and crafts are still in boxes.

 

However a new magazine has started here and it has an interesting project , a patchwork knitted  blanket. It cought my eye and thought why not, an opportunity to start some knitting.
 

 

 My first block is in garter stitch, a simple one but very excited about the other blocks .The colours are lovely too.

 

 

 

 

Furthermore, this year I would like to finish two quilts for my daughters, I have the tops ready, they just need quilting. Obviously I would like to try to finish some cross stitching projects, when I find them :)

 

Luckily, I do have my Christmas ornament mag, so would like to make some ornies every now and then. I have finished two already and will post them soon.

Update on latest sticthing

Hi everyone,

its been a while again. I have been stitching ornies and miniatures, here are some to show.

This is a 1:12 scale miniature embroidery. Its for the Mediterranean house, more details on my miniature blog. I also have been working on some WIP mentioned before in this blog. But as I have spread myself over so many hobbies, I am a bit slow in producing things but at least I never get bored, lol!

I will have more pictures up very soon as I have a couple more ornaments  done but no pictures yet.
